FAQs

What is the Downtown Greensboro 2030 Vision Plan?
Downtown Greensboro Inc., in partnership with the City of Greensboro and Guilford County, is working with a consulting firm, MIG, to form a new strategic action plan for the future of downtown Greensboro. The key word here is “action”, as this plan will shape downtown for the next 10 years. This is a community-wide effort to collect public input and help chart the course for the next chapter of downtown development. You are encouraged to attend an upcoming workshop on 11/19 or 11/20 to learn more about the plan and provide input.

What will happen at the workshops?
Participants will learn about emerging ideas and recommendations for the 2030 Vision Plan and asked to provide feedback and offer suggestions. Several stations will present what’s being proposed, including “big moves” for downtown Greensboro. Several boards (posters) will be on display that will provide information and collect feedback from participants. Team members will be on hand to discuss your ideas and input and answer any questions.

Will it cost anything to participate?
No, this event is free to the public and all interested community members are welcome to attend.

Do I have to stay for the entire workshop?
This is a drop-in event. Participants do not have to stay for the entire workshop. You can drop by at any time to be part of the process.

Do I need to attend both workshops?
No, the same format will be used at both workshops so choose whichever one is more convenient.
