Krave Kava Bar & Lounge will host a grand opening luau on Saturday, April 22, 2018.
The party goes on all day during the hours Krave is open from 12 noon to midnight. Enjoy free samples, and complementary food.
Krave Greensboro, located in the heart of downtown at 202 Exchange Place, serves kava, kratom tea, yerba mate and other root and tea beverages in an island vibe-infused, alcohol-free atmosphere.
Krave is proud to serve only pure kava from the ground kava root. Kava is indigenous to the Islands in the South Pacific, including Fiji and Vanuatu, where locals enjoy it to relax. For thousands of years, kava has been used as a ceremonial drink often served in coconut shells. Kratom is native to Southeast Asia, and Yerba Mate has been enjoyed as a social drink in South America for centuries. Krave has numerous flavored mates on the menu.
“We welcome the community to our luau where we hope to meet people who already love kava as well as people who want to give it a try,” owner Elizabeth Gardner said. “We offer an alternative entertainment option to bars that sell alcohol, and welcome everyone 18 and older.”
Krave’s grand opening luau will include a traditional pig roast and Polynesian entertainment.
